Creating a Print of One of My Fine Art Photos
Working with Mckenna Pro, I decided to print one of the photos I took at the fashion shoot I did recently. At the shoot I ended up taking several detail shots of clothing, jewelry, accessories, etc. One of the photos I took was of a model dressed as Cruella Devil from 101 Dalmatians. She wore red gloves that were really striking, and she also had a large ring covered in jewels. This ended up being the focal point, and I didn’t really think much of the photo when I took it. Later, when searching through my photos for ones I wanted to edit, I experimented with this one. After some cropping and sharpening, I was surprised by how much I loved the colors and the detail in the ring and her gloves. I decided to prep this photo to print as an example of my fine art work that I’m proud of. I lightened the shadows and brightened and sharpened the ring, and I think it came out pretty nicely. I also got to display my print on campus at the university I’m attending, which is a cool bonus!
On the Wall!
I used a company called Mckenna Pro, but another one that I’ve heard is good is Bay Photo. Check them out!
